Exhibitionist causes excitement on the train: the police step in!

A recent incident in German trains draws attention to exhibitionist actions. During an event in the Eurocity train from Zurich to Prague, a 28-year-old man from India was observed how he behaved immorally. The man consumed pornographic content on his smartphone and at the same time manipulated his genital part. This behavior was noticed and reported by witnesses and the train staff, which informed the federal police.

The incident occurred on the EC 459 train and the train kept at the Erfurt Central Station around 2.45 a.m. After the federal police contacted the train staff and a witness, the man was excluded from the onward journey. As a result, the federal police initiated criminal proceedings for exhibitionist acts. After the criminal procedural measures were completed, the man was allowed to leave the office, such as Image reported.

Similar incidents in other trains

In another incident, a 19-year-old Tunisian was determined on a train journey from Frankfurt am Main to Halle (Saale) due to similar exhibitionist acts. The incident occurred on New Year's Eve, shortly after 6 a.m., when two women informed the train staff that the man in the row of seats was manipulated at his genital part.

When arriving at the Halle main station, federal police officers became aware of the man and took him to the office. During the arrest, the man behaved uncooperatively and hit doors and walls to injure himself, which is why he had to be tied up. Investigations also showed that he had no train ticket for the journey from Frankfurt and for another trip from Munich. The man was opened with allegations of excitement of public annoyance, exhibitionist acts and scurling services. The two witnesses were able to continue their trip to Berlin after their personal details, such as Tag24 reported.
