Rewe opens sustainable supermarket: a green shopping experience in Spandau!

Brunsbütteler Damm, 13581 Berlin, Deutschland - A special kind of supermarket is built in Berlin-Spandau! The new Rewe on Brunsbütteler Damm will not only be a place for purchasing, but a real showcase project for sustainability. With an impressive shell that has already been completed, a ceremonial topping-out ceremony took place on November 5, in which Rewe representatives and the district mayor Frank were present. The construction costs amount to around eleven million euros that flow into energy efficiency and sales area.

From April 2025, customers can look forward to a top -class shopping experience! There will be more than 20,000 products on an area of 1,950 square meters. The entrance area will come up with a sushibar and a saladee, while the delicatessen and meat counter will be found in the back of the market. In front of the health insurers, customers can expect an extensive range of beverage on 250 square meters. Customers can easily pay at self-checkout cash registers or at occupied cash registers, where free cash cancellation is also possible.

But that's not all! There will be a café next to the supermarket, and a DHL pack station and two e-charging stations with four charging points are installed in front of the market. With this new market, Rewe relies on the future and follows the trend of green buildings - the company has already implemented over 300 such sustainable projects in Germany. The new REWE will be another highlight in the west of Berlin and promises a shopping experience that is both environmentally friendly and customer -oriented!
