The festive season has already started in Berlin! The first Christmas markets are open and preparations are in full swing. At Breitscheidplatz now a fir shots that could hardly be more beautiful - a real gem that exceeds all expectations!

On November 6th, the impressive Douglasia was set up, fresh from a garden in Lichterfelde. She was felled just a day before and transported to Charlottenburg on the night. This fir will adorn the Christmas market at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church throughout the Christmas season and shine in full splendor on time for the opening on November 25th after it is decorated with sparkling lights.

A Christmas tree of extra class

with a height of 18 meters and a perfect, triangular grew, the fir inspections the visitors. Dense branches and no bald spots - this beauty makes other Christmas trees of the past look pale. Memories of the Christmas tree at the Brandenburg Gate from 2011, which was mocked as a "crutch", are quickly forgotten. "What a crutch," the Berlin Bär scolded on Facebook at the time. But this fir will certainly provide bright faces and put people in a festive mood!
