Podolski closes Döner-Store in Berlin: just a short experiment?

Berlin. A kebab dream becomes a nightmare! Lukas Podolski, the ex-international, closed his “Mangal” branch in Berlin after only six months. What was going on?

The plan was great: Podolski wanted to mix up the hard-fought Berlin kebab market. At the opening in March, people were snake on the Kottbusser Damm, the curiosity was huge! But now everything is over. The "Berliner Zeitung" reports that the kebab franchise, which Poldis has snack bars, was just a pop-up store-and nobody knew that! The sudden closure causes confusion and disappointment among fans.

Podolski's surprising decision

The explanation for the closure is more than irritating. A kebab experiment temporarily? Nobody really expected that! At the opening, Podolski was still full of optimism and raved about the Berlin atmosphere: "I'm totally happy to be here, I like the flair of Berlin and also have good memories because the triumphal procession after the World Cup took place." But now the only question remains: was that all just a short hype without a substance?
