New asphalt for cyclists: Rönnestrasse is being redesigned!

Rönnestraße 7, 10587 Berlin, Deutschland - The Rönnestrasse in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf becomes the construction site! The redesign has started and the district office has announced the good news. On the section between Stuttgarter Platz and Holtzendorffstraße, the old cobblestones are replaced by a modern asphalt ceiling. This measure not only promises a smooth journey for cyclists, but also a noticeable noise reduction for the residents. A real gain for everyone!

full closure for the construction work

Caution! The construction work requires a complete blocking of the street. First of all, the area between house number 7 and Stuttgarter Platz remains inaccessible for about six to eight weeks. After that, the lock is extended to section from house number 7 to Holtzendorffstrasse - of course dependent on the weather conditions. Drivers and pedestrians have to adjust to diversions and should plan their routes accordingly.

sustainability in focus

The conversion measures are the result of careful planning that were developed in close cooperation with the road traffic authority and the Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment. The project is financed by the special fund of infrastructure of the growing city and sustainability funds (Siwana). In addition, the grapid patches are adjusted in the side rooms to improve the infiltration of rainwater. A step towards environmentally friendly infrastructure!
