Redur, a 19-year-old with fear of heights, bravely ventured onto the tower and describes the experience as a "blatant feeling". "The countdown builds up really tension. It was so cool!" He enthuses and encourages others to also face the challenge. The broad grin of passengers when leaving the tower speaks volumes about the thrill that this Christmas market offers.

The Berlin winter dream is much more than just a cozy Christmas market. With 61 stands and a variety of rides, including a ferris wheel and a chain carousel at a height of 40 meters, it offers an action -packed experience. For only eight euros you can indulge in free fall, while the mulled wine prices are four euros. And every Wednesday the family day is celebrated, where all rides cost half.

The location of the market, which was once a scrap place, is particularly remarkable. District Mayor Hikel was pleased with the revitalization of the site, which is due to serve as a caravan place for tourists from spring 2025. "We are really amazed at how many people are here on the first day," says a spokeswoman for the market. The Christmas market will also take place at this location in the coming years, and the number of visitors is already as high as if it were already in mid -December!
