A real coup for urban development!
The regulation complements the framework plan that was already decided on May 14, 2024, which defines clear urban planning and usage -specific goals. "There is enormous potential for an urban planning and functional reorganization that the City West and the general public benefits," said the Senate Chancellery. At least 30 percent of the newly emerging areas are to be reserved for living purposes and common good -oriented uses. A clear focus on the needs of the city dwellers!
important effects of regulation
Bausenator Gaebler emphasizes the importance of this PROMICATION Ordinance: "With this measure we secure the urban development on this very exposed area. If a sale of land contradicts the urban planning goals, Berlin will have the opportunity to enter the purchase contract instead of a potential buyer." A clear step to take urban development in your own hands and ensure that the interests of the citizens are preserved!
