Weiden, Deutschland - Irchenrieth: An exciting day with the Bundeswehr!

unforgettable adventures were waiting for the employees of the curative education center (HPZ) Irchenrieth when they drove to the Major-Radloff barracks with a Bundeswehr bus. As early as arrival, they were received by a colorful group in uniform, impressive camouflage vehicles and a field kitchen specially built for them. Before the culinary pleasure with hearty dishes, however, an exciting program was on the plan!

accompanied by numerous soldiers, the guests of the HPZ immerse themselves in the exciting world of military clothing and equipment. Protective vests, helmets and heavily loaded marches were just a few of the utensils they could try - a real weight sample of a special kind! At station two it became action-packed: with a Bundeswehr Jeep, we went on a rapid tour over the barracks. Here the employees also got to know the exciting planning and strategy methods of the group.

The absolute highlight followed with an impressive tank screening. The large machines - trucks, off -road vehicles and the magnificent tanks - were ready for a visit. Some adventurers even slipped into the cockpit and experienced the technology up close! And as if that were not enough, the HPZ visitors were allowed to enjoy a hearty pea stew from the field kitchen and take souvenirs from the well-known one-man catering packs with them. The Bundeswehr offered an exciting insight into its world that was truly unforgettable for the guests!
