Become the new Christ child: call for application for Bad Wörishofen!

Preparations for the Christmas market in Bad Wörishofen are already in full swing, although the Advent season still seems far away. In spa and tourism operations, work is diligently working on organizing all the details that are necessary so that the popular Christmas market can open its doors in good time. An important part of this traditional festive event is the Christ child, which has enriched the market with its appearances in recent years.

This year the spa and tourism operations have started looking for a new Christ child. We are looking for a boy or a girl who is ready to take on this special role and to delight visitors to the market with a radiant appearance.

For children from Bad Wörishofen between the ages of 10 and 14, there is now a unique opportunity. If you enjoy standing in front of an audience and has no problem learning a text, you can apply as Bad Wörishofener Christkind. The new Christ child will open the Christmas market on December 7, 2024 and has the honorable task of determining the lucky winners of a Christmas competition on December 19. The right costume is of course provided by the event office, so that only the application has to be submitted.

Interested children can submit their applications by October 21, 2024 at the latest. These should include a profile that contains the name, date of birth and place of residence, as well as a photo. Applications can either be sent directly to the event office, which is located at Luitpold-Leusser-Platz 2 in Bad Wörishofen, or by email to event@bad-woerishofen.de.
