Birner remains mayor: no ambitions on district posts!

The name Hans-Jörg Birner, Mayor of Kirchanschöring, has been buzzing through the rumor mill for weeks! Again and again he is associated with the coveted district council in the Traunstein district. But now comes the surprising turn: Birner has clearly denied all ambitions for the office! If Siegfried Walch moves into the Bundestag, Birner remains determined to stay in his role as mayor.

In an urgent press release, Birner left no doubt: "That honored me. However, I am Mayor of the wonderful church in Kirchanschöring and I want to stay. I feel very comfortable in this position." He emphasizes that "important and groundbreaking projects were launched in his community", and he sees his task in continuing to support them. "I see my place there," he emphasizes, while he is preparing for the local elections in March 2026 and hoping for the support of the Kirchanschöringen voters.
