Athletes honored: Submit suggestions for award now!

In the district of Straubing-Bogen, the big sports ceremony is imminent! The outstanding achievements of athletes are also to be recognized in the coming year, which have achieved impressive success in 2023. The athletes in particular focus on international competitions such as the Olympic Games as well as world and European championships. But national sizes can also look forward to recognition, because medalists at German championships and the best in their categories in South German and Bavarian championships that have occupied places 1 to 3 and 1 or 2 are on the list of honor.

In the junior area, the Lower Bavarian champions and third-placed people at relevant championships. A special prerequisite for the honor is that the competitions must have a qualification or that the athletes rank in the first half of the field of participants. The honors are not only important for athletes! Formers and referees, which have a long -term commitment of at least ten years in the background, should also be included in the list of honors.

Apply now by December 10th!

sports and shooting clubs as well as sports associations and municipalities in the district are called to submit their suggestions for the honor from now on- but not too late, because the deadline is December 10th! For all successes that are achieved in December, however, there is an extension until January 6th! So if you can still shine, you still have time to submit your success.

An important point: In order to be used for an honor, the athletes must live in the district or have been a member of the district in a club and have achieved their services under its names.
