Three men steal spark plugs worth 18,000 euros in Mallersdorf!
In a dramatic incident on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, three men in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg haunted a biogas plant and stole 35 spark plugs worth around 18,000 euros! The perpetrators fled with a vehicle in an unknown direction, but the police were not asked for long and immediately started a large -scale search.
Already on the same day, around 5:35 p.m., the fleeting thieves were discovered on the federal highway A72 near Feilitzsch in the Hof district. Officials from the Hof traffic police inspection controlled two vehicles with Polish approval that were traveling in the convoy. The discovery was shocking: in the cars the police found several buckets full of spark plugs! The five inmates, aged 20 to 40, were immediately arrested. It turned out that they were not only involved in the theft in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg, but possibly also in other property offenses.

The five suspects were brought before the district court of Regensburg on Thursday, October 17, 2024, where arrest warrants were issued. They were then admitted to a correctional facility. The investigation led by the Straubing criminal police inspection with the Regensburg public prosecutor's office continues and, among other things, focus on suspicion of the band theft. The police stay tuned and will do everything possible to clarify the background of this brazen crime!
