Gilching: Finally green light for the Gilchinger bald head after 30 years!
After more than 30 years of standstill, the plans for the development of the Gilching bald head have finally gained driving. Mayor Manfred Walter can breathe a sigh of relief, because the last signature is under the contracts - a crucial step that ends the long wait for this development. With the signing of the last owner of a total of 42 landowners, the referral procedure can now begin to advance the structured development of this approximately 14 hectare area in the heart of Gilchings, reported Merkur.de .
The Gilchinger bald head, an area in the center, will not only offer living space, but also create green areas that are supposed to increase the quality of life. The development plan stipulates that at least 50 % of the area remain as a green and open space, as part of a superordinate goal of urban planning, which has been pursued as part of an ideas competition since 2005. The aim is to create both storey housing and social infrastructures in order to meet the different needs of future residents. However, the implementation of the development plan still takes time, as the land must first be folded down, as well as the website confirmed.
The time that will pass until the actual construction is estimated to be about three years before the first excavators can appear. However, the subsequent construction phase could extend over a period of up to 20 years, since the 42 plots have to be re -cut depending on the development and use. Walter expects high square meter prices, which could continue to make the residential development in Gilching expensive. The construction of childcare facilities is also planned to meet the future needs of the new residents. The project has the opportunity to open a new chapter in Gilching's history.
