Serious accident on A9: 91-year-old dies, driver slightly injured!

An 88-year-old driver of a gray VW overtook a coach near Streitau when a 45-year-old Ukrainian truck driver moved into the middle lane. As a result, there was a violent collision in which the VW was badly damaged.

The 91-year-old passenger of the VW suffered fatal injuries due to the impact and died at the scene of the accident. The 88-year-old and the truck driver were spared with minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. The police estimate the property damage at around 60,000 euros.
