Schweinfurt in the crisis: Schaeffler strokes jobs!

Schweinfurt, Deutschland - The alarming news from the large industry in Schweinfurt put the region under pressure! Planned job cancellations at Schaeffler have rejected the concerns about the future of numerous jobs. Anja Weisgerber and Martina Gießübel from the CSU express their deep concern about the impending job losses in a joint statement: "The situation is serious, and this affects the people and their families in the region." The economy is facing a crisis and the labor market is becoming more and more tense.

Weisgerber makes it clear that the federal government has to take immediate measures to ensure Germany's competitiveness. "The traffic light coalition continues to sink into the dispute, while Germany is becoming increasingly weaker," said the MP. Despite the concrete proposals from the Union on the economic realignment, such as tax cuts and a reduction in electricity costs, these were rejected by the traffic light coalition. SPD MP Markus Hümpfer is now calling for a stronger industrial policy-a claim that Weisgerber is irritating, since the Union has already made numerous suggestions to strengthen the economy.

in the run -up to the coalition committee, Weisgerber is pessimistic: "For months there has been no clear economic policy decisions for months." It even proposes new elections to counteract the stagnant situation. A return of the Union to the government could result in quick measures such as tax cuts and relief for energy prices. The Bavarian state government also reacts concerns to the developments and checks a package of measures to support the region. Prime Minister Markus Söder is informed about the situation.

A ray of hope for the future could be the newly decided transformation fund of the Bavarian state government, which is equipped with 350 million euros. This fund aims to support the automotive industry in Bavaria in particular, which is strongly challenged by change. "This fund is an important step so that the Bavarian economy can master the challenges of the future," explains Gießübel and expresses hope that this can create new perspectives for the region.
