Fasching in danger: Promote Isar detectives Reading in the Kom Ma youth center!

Schweinfurt, Deutschland - Schweinfurt - an exciting chapter for young readers begins! The popular book series "Isar detectives" heralded the next round with the new band "Fasching". The Schweinfurt member of the state parliament Paul Knoblach from Bündnis 90/The Greens recently handed over 36 copies of these exciting stories to the KOM'MA youth center. "I would like to set an example with it and hope that the proven youth center will soon be fully opened again," emphasized Knoblach in a press release.

The author Anja Janotta and the illustrator Stefan Leuchtenberg have once again created a captivating story for children aged nine to twelve years. Many of the young visitors to the KOM'MA belong exactly to this age group. In this new edition, the children learn not only through the adventures of the detectives, but also about the Bavarian state parliament and the important work of the MPs. Knoblach is convinced: "The book can help to convey joy and fun reading to children and young people."

challenges in the youth center

The Kom'Ma has already benefited from Knoblach in recent years, which has also donated class sets of the “Isar detectives” at schools and social institutions. But the youth center is currently fighting with challenges: Due to uncertainties, several educators have terminated, which delays the center of the center full. Felix Eckstein, the last remaining employee, reports on positive conversations with potential new educators, so that open youth work could soon be resumed.

The financial support of the city and deanery ensures the operation of the Kom´ma for the next three years, but the return to normality depends on the fast line -up of the vacancies. Knoblach symbolically presented the books to Eckstein, in the hope that they will bring joy to the children in the coma and promote reading.
