Autumn gloss in Nuremberg: Warm and no snow in sight in November!

While the weather experts spoke of a conventional, mild November in the past few weeks, new calculations bring a dramatic turn. According to graduate meteorologist Dominik Jung, October with its spring-like maximum values from up to 20 degrees to well into November could serve as a harbing of an unusual warm weather. "The stable high -pressure areas in eastern Germany together with low pressure areas in the west prevent a cold onset of winter," explains Jung in an interview with the "Munich Mercury". Instead of frosty nights and the first snow, we have to prepare for a continuation of the mild weather.

Winter remains on the route

The hopes for winter conditions in the first days of November must be buried. Jung emphasizes that the current weather models show no signs of a cold beginning of the month. "On the contrary, the weather forecasts suggest that November could start too warm." While many hope for the first snow, they have to put up with further spring -like weather and wait for the winter to be moving in. November, apparently more summer than winter, could bring joy to the hearts of warm -blooded diet, while snow lovers remain disappointed. So prepare for a weather phenomenon that is anything but normal!
