Egglham in focus: Latest measures against water drainage start soon!
In the district of Rottal-Inn, more precisely in Egglham, important measures are imminent from mid-October that aim to slow down the water outflow in the region. The Office for Rural Development has announced that the planned projects to combat the increasing glossy, which are caused by heavy button strikes, will start shortly. In recent years, this problem has significantly affected not only the land value, but also the local infrastructure. Ditches and streams are overloaded and the destruction of built -up areas threatens.
To improve the situation, the community of participants has already initiated several measures in the land re -enactment process. These include not only the improvement of access roads in two districts, but also more extensive water -keeping projects that were presented in a press release.
projects for improving soil and water
The planned measures aim to regulate the water outflow in Egglham, which benefits both humans as well as the soil and water. Various smaller projects are planned to make a contribution to the creation of a decentralized water retention. The districts of Hoibach, Martinstödling, Herrndobl and Ringdobl are concrete locations for the implementation of these measures. In particular, large -scale terrain modeling in these regions is used.
A central element of the projects is the removal of the surface water in modeled drainage troughs, which are directed to different retention areas. A congestion area should be set up especially along the "Hoibach" stream in order to better control the water flow and create retention areas.
challenges when selling space
A crucial obstacle to the implementation of these projects is the availability of areas. According to Pia Waldhauser, deputy project manager of the Lower Bavaria Office for Rural Development, there are concerns about the willingness of owners to provide their private areas for the projects. The persistent inflation has led to increasing soil price development, which affects the willingness to sell space.
However, the land re -re -regulation procedure offers a possibility of exchanging space, which could serve as an incentive. The need to create water retention measures has become particularly clear since the floods in the past spring, which underlines the urgency of these projects.
The responsible companies were recently commissioned for the implementation of the route measures and the "down-to-earth" measures. The company WESTENTANNER will be responsible for the roadway measures, while the Sand and gravel work Rauschenöd implements the "down-to-earth" measures. The work on site should continue until the coming spring, whereby the exact time frame depends heavily on the weather conditions.
In addition, the Egglham II participant community is already planning further potential areas of measures in order not to cause any time delays with suitable financial support and good budget conditions. The goal is to promote the implementation of further projects and thus to draw a maximum benefit from the effects of the current plans.
