The Rother Christkindlesmarkt is just around the corner and promises a festival of the senses! From November 21 to December 8, the historic marketplace is transformed into a winter wonderland, where around 50 clubs and institutions from Roth and the surrounding area invite you to enjoy the festive atmosphere. Mayor Andreas Buckreus will open the traditional festival on Thursday, November 21, at 4:30 p.m. At each of the twelve event days, visitors can expect a varied program with instrumental music, dance performances and singing, presented by the local daycare centers and schools.

An absolute highlight this year: A festively decorated children's carousel will be on the market for the first time! This innovation is the result of a request from the hut operators from last year and is intended to inspire the little guests. The stands offer a wealth of gifts and festive Christmas accessories, from handmade knitting goods to fragrant candles and delicious delicacies. Here everyone will find the perfect gift for loved ones, while the seductive smell of mulled wine and cookies meet the air.

special experiences for the whole family

The Christkindlesmarkt not only offers shopping opportunities, but also an exciting supporting program for the whole family. On Saturday, November 30th, at 5:30 p.m., the Christ child will herald the Advent season with an official prologue. For those who want to personally meet the Christ child and Nikolaus, on Thursday, December 5th, from 4 p.m. there will be the opportunity to take a souvenir photo. On Friday, December 6th, both will be on site from 6 p.m. and have sweet surprises for the good children.

In addition, there will be a magical presentation by magician Markus Kirschner on Sunday, December 1st, while Krowi's doll stage will perform the play "When winter disappeared" at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 6th. The Christkindlesmarkt has something to offer for everyone and invites you to celebrate the best time of the year together!
