Cyclists brake bus - child falls and injures!
A shocking incident occurred on Tuesday around 1:10 p.m. in Neuhaus am Inn, when a 41-year-old cyclist, whose driving style reminded of snake lines, put a bus driver's nerves to the test. The cyclist was on the PA 15 district road and caused a dangerous moment when he suddenly got onto the oncoming lane and forced the oncoming bus to make full braking.
The chaos started when an unknown vehicle tried to overtake the cyclist, but had to avoid to avoid a collision. The bus driver, a 43-year-old, was no less affected than the cyclist suddenly controlled to the left. This led to a dramatic fall of the cyclist, which luckily had no direct contact with the bus. But the misfortune took a turn: a nine -year -old child on the bus lost his hold and also fell. Both - the cyclist and the child - suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
alcohol smell and legal consequences
The police found that the cyclist was alcoholic. The smell suggested that a blood sample was necessary to determine the exact alcohol content. His bike was ensured until he is sober again. An investigation was initiated against the man for negligent bodily harm and danger to road traffic. The police asks witnesses who have observed the incident or the driver of the bright car to contact the Passau police on 0851/9511-0.
