A concert full of music and compassion: 5000 euros for children in need!

On Sunday evening, the parish church of St. Wenzeslaus in Oberlauterbach experienced a remarkable concert under the title "Durkultur hit Musi Mosaik". The organizers of the Aresing Heimat- und Kulturverein were surprised by the high number of visitors. Long before the start, numerous guests flocked to the church to secure the best places, and all of this with free admission. The event was not only musical, but also a platform to collect donations for an important project.

The concert was the goal of supporting a care center in Tanzania, which is led by the Kaplan Apollinaris NGAO. In Tanzania, children with physical or mental restrictions often do not have the same care as in Germany and are sometimes even excluded by their families. The donations collected during the concert should benefit these helpful children and improve their living conditions.

impressive performances and helpfulness

At the beginning, choir director and organist Martin Felber asked the question: "Aresing - what could be nicer than making music and hearing and still doing good?" These thoughts reflected the atmosphere of the evening, which was characterized by a strong helpfulness. The men's and church choir Aresing helped, as did pastor Florian Stadlmayr and soprano Josefine Mahl. Instrumental contributions came from the Rohrbacher Streichertrio and Thomas Wiltschko with his bagpipe.

as a chaplain Apollinaris Ngao as part of the welcome song "Good evening you all here", also had high guests of honor such as the pastor of Schrobenhausen, Georg Leonhard Bühler, among those present. The explanations of the pieces of music were particularly well received, which made it possible for the audience to deal more intensively with the performance. The musical range was wide: from the Scottish classic "Autumn Leaves" to "Ode to the future" and "Joy of beautiful gods", the repertoire ranged.

Instead of the usual applause, there was a passionate "Mmmmhhhh" of the audience between the articles, which gave the event a special note. An emotional highlight was Thomas Wiltschko's appearance, who filled the room with the sounds of "Amazing Grace" while he stepped through the ranks with his bagpipe. The audience sang quietly when the church choir Aresing/Oberlauterbach presented the song "ännchen von Tharau". The combination of Florian Stadlmayr and Josefine Mahl also caused goosebumps.

a successful result

Another highlight of the concert was the appearance of the well -known saxophonist Jörg Weber, who performed with his student Antonia Endress. The two musicians delighted the audience with their skills. Three altar servers encouraged visitors to donate generously, which is why the collection brought in over 5000 euros for the Tanzania project. "Anyone who has a coin, who are in the basket purely, who is at 'Fufziger Spent, steal from the chaplain to Seg’n," was the call of the young helpers.

Such an evening that combined music and non -profit help not only leaves musical impressions, but also promotes awareness of the needs of disadvantaged children in Tanzania. The support thus goes far beyond the financial dimension and shows how important solidarity is in our globalized world.
