In the Christmas season, the Hellabrunn zoo in Munich invites its visitors to experience the festively decorated animals. On Christmas Eve, the zoo is open until 4 p.m. and on the first and second Christmas holiday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The special attractions include Christmas trees that are decorated with fruit and vegetables to give the animals.
