Austrian pastor brings football joy to Ukraine!
In a remarkable initiative, the members of the Austrian national priest football team, led by Pastor Zdravko Gasparic from Bocksdorf, show their heart for children and young people in Ukraine. Together with their altar servers, they collect football jerseys to give the children who suffer from the devastating consequences of the Russian war of aggression. The jerseys can come from all leagues, be it from Manchester United, Bayern Munich or Rapid Vienna. It is only important that the donations are in good condition and washed, such as Kathpress . After Easter, Pastor Gasparic will personally bring the collected relief supplies to a Ukrainian school to give the children a bright spot in these difficult times for a moment.
Looking back at the past 30 years of the independence of the municipality of Rohr, which was once part of a larger municipal community with Bocksdorf, the local population has now celebrated this milestone with a ceremony. Mayor Gernot Kremsner described the positive developments since the separation in 1991, which gave the community the opportunity to implement significant infrastructure projects such as sewage system and water pipes. These successes are the result of community efforts and voluntary commitments of the citizens, according to the reporting of Meinbezirk . Kremsner emphasized that Rohr also does pioneering work on the way to sustainable energy efficiency by providing funding for private photovoltaic systems for a decade.Details | |
