Fly Lili withdraws from Munich: flights to Brasov set!
The Romanian airline Fly Lili withdraws from German airports after only six months. According to Merkur from the beginning of January 2025, including the connection from Munich Brașov, which has been offered since summer 2024. The last flights to Brașov take place on January 6th and 8th, 2025 before the airline leaves Brașov Airport on January 11, 2025 due to low demand.
Already at the beginning of the year, Fly Lili announced on Instagram that the flights from and to Brașov Ghimbav International Airport will be temporarily suspended from January 10, 2025. The passengers who booked after January 8 receive a complete reimbursement of their ticket prices. The average occupancy of the flights was only 30 percent, which led to a monthly loss of 1.5 million euros.

The airline plans to concentrate on the Wet lease operation and charter flights in the future. According to aerotelegraph Fly Lili thus withdraws from the line. Not only are the connections to Brașov, but also flights from and to Nuremberg and Stuttgart.
The original start of operation was planned for early 2024, but the airline had difficulties with delays and flight cancellations, which led to a break in the first routes at the end of June 2023. A restart in August 2023 brought connections from Brașov to Munich, Stuttgart and Nuremberg. However, planned additional connections according to Bucharest, Iași and other cities were not implemented.
The airline boss Jürgen Faff apologized for the cancellations and explained that ticket prices will be high from January 11, 2024 to avoid cancellations. The Fly Lili fleet consists of two Airbus A319 and two A320.
