Miesbach, Deutschland - A sparkling spectacle illuminated Miesbach at the popular event "1000 Lights Slabo" on Saturday, November 30th! The city turned into a true winter wonderland that captivated young and old. With a colorful program of fire, light and music, the Advent season was properly heralded. Visitors flocked in droves to experience the magical atmosphere that has been causing enthusiasm for years.

The streets were filled with happy faces, while children ran around with colorful balloon figures and imaginative face painting. The city put the festive lighting of the houses and churches in a fantastic light when dark. The fairytale fountain in particular became the attraction for the little ones who played and laughed there. The light deer in Waitzinger Park provided numerous snapshots, while fire bowls created a cozy atmosphere.

An absolute highlight was the spectacular light and fire show by Mad Hias, which was created especially for Miesbach. The impressive performances captivated the spectators and celebrated the power of the fire. Nearby, the talented ice cream carved Christian Staber carved breathtaking sculptures from large ice blocks, including a bright angel and a comet. Nicholas also showed himself, accompanied by the mayor, and caused bright children's eyes while moving through the streets.

The culinary stands were another highlight of the evening. From Turkish specialties to hearty Schupfnudeln to sweet cinnamon buns - the selection was huge! Longer snakes formed on the popular food stalls, while visitors enjoyed the festive atmosphere in the city center. If you wanted, you could even roast stick bread around the campfire or pull candles. The happy atmosphere and the festive lighting made “1000 light shine” an unforgettable experience for everyone!
