During an amateur game in the Landsberg on Lech district, there was a shocking incident: A 30-year-old player from FT Jahn Landsberg II hit the 46-year-old referee with full force, which led to an immediate demolition of the game. The referee fell to the ground after the brutal attack and was passed out for about a minute. These terrifying scenes occurred during a circle game against TSV Finning when the tension in added time (90.+4) reached its peak.
The incident began when the Landsberg player after the decisive goal of Finning, which made the game 3-2, loudly insulted the referee. This reacted with a red card, which apparently did not appease the player. Instead, the anger came over and he attacked the referee. After the incident, the referee filed a complaint with the police in Fürstenfeldbruck, which is now investigating the player.
consequences for the player and the club
The FT Jahn Landsberg reacted immediately. In an official explanation on social media, the association apologized both with the referee and TSV Finning for the unacceptable behavior of its player. The aggressor was excluded from the game and must now expect further consequences from the sports court of the Bavarian Football Association. The entire football community is shocked by this incident, which not only questions the game, but also the integrity of sport.
