Violence in amateur football: Referee according to Faustschlag in the knockout!

In amateur football in Bavaria, a player crosses all borders! In a heated circular class game between TSV Finning and FT Jahn Landsberg 2 there was a shocking incident: the referee was brutally depressed after a red card! The game, which was already shaped by tensions, did not end with the final whistle, but in a scandalous assault.

The game was already in added time when the hosts from Finning scored the 3-2. A Landsberg player, angry with the decision of the referee, insulted it loudly. The 46-year-old referee reacted and sent the 30-year-old player off the square with a red card. But instead of fitting, the player hit the impartial in the face with full force! The referee fell out unconscious and only came back to him after a shocking minute. The game was stopped immediately and the spectators were stunned!

association condemns violence

The FT Jahn Landsberg announced the next day on Facebook: "We expressly distance ourselves from this behavior." The association immediately excluded the perpetrator from the game and emphasized that such behavior cannot be tolerated. "This behavior does not reflect the values that we suggest to our members," says the clear message of the association.

The police and the Bavarian Football Association have initiated the investigation. Fabian Frühwirth, deputy managing director of the association, praised the quick reaction of the association and made it clear: "The soccer field is not a legal space." The consequences for the player could range from anti-aggression training to fines or an exclusion from the association. The police also investigated the 30-year-old for assault. This is not the first incident of this kind, because only recently in Lower Saxony there was a similar escalation during a youth game that paralyzed the entire game for weeks. The violence in amateur football accepts worrying dimensions!
