in 1966 Lore Baunach was hired to lead a children's gymnastics group. With a stroller in her hand, she made her way to Iphofen from her home town of Mainbernheim - a real pioneer! Just a year later, she launched the first women's gymnastics group and thus set new standards. From 1967 to 1990 she led the parent-child gymnastics and gymnastics for the youngest and elementary school students. Her vision was clear: children are the "most valuable credit of every club". She was convinced that children who grow into the club remain loyal to it.

Lore Baunach was not only an athlete, but also a pioneer for numerous initiatives in the gymnastics club. In 1986 she took over the office of specialist in Turngau Kitzingen and later also in Würzburg. Her long -standing merits were recognized with the appointment as an honorary member of TSV Iphofen, and the district of Kitzingen also honored her with the golden circle of circles and the needle in gold.
