A dramatic rear-end collision occurred on Thursday evening around 7 p.m. on state road 2271 near Marktsteft! There was a collision at a traffic light, which resulted in two people being slightly injured. The accident occurred at the intersection of Staatsstraße 2271/Marktbreiter Straße/Am Traugraben when a driver had to stop at a red light. But that wasn't the end of the story!
While the front vehicle was already stationary, a second car driver raced into the rear of the first car without braking! There were two children in the back seat of the front car, who fortunately were well secured in their child seats and were uninjured. However, the two adults who were sitting in the front vehicle suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to Kitzinger Hospital.
