Christmas without you: contemplative prayer for mourners in Kaufbeuren

Special times often bring deep emotions with them. Christmas, the family and the joy, can be a particularly difficult time for mourners. The Catholic parish community Kaufbeuren has therefore launched a contemplative prayer that is under the motto "Christmas without you". This prayer is aimed at all mourners who want to feel the loss of a loved one during Christmas. It takes place on December 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Church of St. Peter & Paul, Barbarossastraße 23, in Kaufbeuren, as We-s-kaufbeuren.de

This initiative offers the participating space to allow their grief and to revive memories of deceased relatives. The prayer is also supported by the outpatient palliative service Blicklicht, who takes care of accompanying patients in the last phase of life. The joint framework of the prayer offers the opportunity to connect to other mourners and to prepare in a respectful environment for the upcoming holidays.
