Kaufbeuren shines: Taekwondo team fetches 14 medals at the TechnikCup!

An exciting competition day in Vaterstetten! The Taekwondo Team Buron Kaufbeuren e. V. has impressively cut off at the open technology cup BTU and secured numerous medals. The newly established youth team, which was supplemented by fresh talents after the last belt test, has prepared for this competition perfectly through intensive training in the school -free weeks.

In this spectacular event, the buyers were allowed to show their skills in the form, a defined movement process against an imaginary opponent - that's like a shadow fight! Five funnels rated technology and presentation in up to three rounds. The tension was tangible and the athletes delivered impressive performance!

Luise Glocker shines with triple victory

The day was particularly outstanding for 13-year-old Luise Glocker, who won the gold medal in singles among ten competitors in singles. In the team run, too, she convinced together with Sophia Janser and Amara Utku and secured gold again. And that was not all: she also won the victory in a couple run with Jonas Britzger! But other athletes also shone: Jonathan Roth, Britzger and Edward Dorst surprised with a win in the team run at their first appearance. Even the Bavarian runner -up Raphael Hafenmaier and his partner Lisa Langner took first place in the couple. The parents Matthias and Eunryang Appelt also got gold twice - once in singles and once in a pair run. Markus Knab, the two -time Bavarian champion in Para Taekwondo, rounded off the fantastic result with another gold medal!

The team was able to win 14 medals in total and thus took an impressive fourth place among 19 participating clubs. To support the 17 athletes, the chairwoman Michaela Zimmermann, design trainer Maik Niepelt and competitive trainer Miriam Sesin and numerous parents and siblings had traveled. The next big date is already around: On November 29, the general meeting will take place with Christmas party, followed by other belt tests in which talents for technology and full contact are again viewed!
