Action month of women's health: workshops and lectures in the Haßberge district!

In October, a month of action is organized in the Haßberge district, which is entirely devoted to the topic of women's health. This series of events is launched by the HASSBERGE health region together with the Health Department, the Volkshochschule (VHS) and AOK Bayern. The initiative is supported by funding from the Bavarian Ministry of Health, and participation in the workshops and lectures is free of charge for everyone interested. Registration is still possible in most cases.

The offers cover a variety of topics and formats to promote the health of women in different areas of life. In addition to informative lectures, there are also creative workshops that stimulate relaxation and personal development.

diverse events in focus

• Workshop "Intuitive Painting" on October 19: Women can experiment with acrylic paints in this course and work on an abstract picture without needing previous knowledge in painting. The event takes place in the Lilo Vogt studio in Wonfurt, where there are still places available.
• Self -assertion for young women on October 21: This course is aimed at young women from the age of 16 who want to learn to deal with cross -border situations and unpleasant speeches. The event runs in the VHS Ebern from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
• online lecture on "Young women and addictions": on October 21, Dr. Diruf in an online lecture from 5 p.m. on the current Situation of young women and the challenges of recent years.
• Info evening on obstetrics/gynecology: On the same evening, expectant parents can learn everything about care during pregnancy and birth in the conference room of the Haßberg clinics.
• workshop "My Baum des Leben" on October 22nd: Here participants get to know different painting materials and design their own collages with mixed media technology. The course takes place from 6.30pm to 9:00 p.m. in the Breitbrunn community center.
• "Mental Load" workshop on October 22: In this workshop, the participants learn how to deal with the feeling of high responsibility. The workshop will take place from 6.30pm to 8:00 p.m. in the Untertheres community center.
• Lecture on obesity: Dr. Natascha von Schau will inform about the disease of obesity on October 23 in the district office. The lecture begins at 6 p.m.
• Online lecture on pregnancy topics: On October 24th, speakers from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. are available to answer questions about parental allowance and parental leave.
• Workshop "Communication that connects": In two parts of this workshop on October 26, personal development is promoted through the reflection of personal limits and the improvement of communication skills. The event takes place in the Ubiz Oberschleichach.
• Families Yoga on October 29: This workshop is aimed at families with children from 2 years and will take place in the VHS Ebern from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Lecture "Women's hearts beat differently" on November 5: At the end of the action month, Dr. med. Stefan Hochreuther address the differences between the hearts of women and men. The lecture takes place in the conference room of the Haßberg clinics.

The number of participants is limited and interested women are encouraged to quickly register for the individual events. Registrations can be sent by email to health region@hassberge.de. Program books are also available in various local facilities such as medical practices and pharmacies.
