Ehrwald, Österreich - A tragic skiing accident shook the Tyrolean ski region on Friday, December 27th. A 50-year-old German fell on blue slopes No. 11 of the Ehrwald Almbahnen after crashing against another skier. The collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. and the man lost consciousness after the collision. The alarmed police reported that the person who caused the accident remained on site, but then searched the width without stating his personal details. Almost a month earlier, on Tuesday, February 20, another serious skiing accident occurred in the popular Sölden ski area. A 55-year-old Swede was on a red slope with his daughter when he tried to avoid two skiers standing on the edge of the slopes, a 34-year-old German and a 35-year-old German. The Swede suffered the most serious injuries, while the other two were only slightly injured.
