New construction job for Kramertunnel: Working soon start in Garmisch!

In the Kramertunnel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, it finally goes on! The State Building Office Weilheim has completed the award procedure for the construction of the inner shell. And the good news: The surcharge went to a company that has already successfully built the two Loisachbrücken at the southern junction. This company has prevailed as the most economical option and can now start work immediately!

New order, new hope

The previous contractor, who was last involved in a legal dispute with the building authority, was empty. The construction period for the inner shell of the Kramert tunnel is expected to take about nine months. Since October, the work on the interior design has been in full swing in the middle area of the 3.7 km long tunnel, more precisely at one of the breakdown bays. Another contractor has the reins in his hand and ensures that the tunnel can soon be released for traffic.

With these developments, hope for a rapid completion of the Kramert tunnel is revived. The region can look forward to an early improvement in the traffic situation, while the construction work is promoted at high pressure.
