In a shocking incident in Sankt Oswald-Riedlhütte, district of Freyung-Grafenau, a public toilet house was deliberately blown up with pyrotechnics! The Passau criminal police have taken over the investigation after the evidence was confirmed that the explosion took place on the Halloween night. The damage is enormous and amount to a low to medium five -digit euro amount!

The destruction was discovered on November 5, 2024 by employees of the national park who immediately informed the police. The investigators found that category 4 pyrotechnic objects were used to blow up the toilet house at the "Filzwald" parking lot. In addition to the hut itself, the faecal tank embedded in the ground was badly damaged. The Grafenau police inspection had already reported on the incident on November 7, 2024.
