Solar power for Hallbergmoos: Tenants benefit from a new system!
In Hallbergmoos, a revolutionary residential project will be reality! The future tenants of the new residential complex on Predazzoallee can look forward to solar power from their own roof. The Bürger-Energiegenossenschaft (BEG) Freisinger Land plans to install an impressive photovoltaic system with an output of 60 kilowatt peak. This system will generate a proud 60,000 kilowatt hours of electricity every year - enough to sustainably supply the residents with energy!
innovative technology for sustainable electricity
A highlight of this project is the first installation of a power storage with a capacity of 20 kilowatt hours. This means that the tenants can access the valuable solar power not only during the day, but also at night. According to BEG, this will significantly increase self -consumption and reduce the dependence on external electricity providers. The new apartments, a total of 21 in number, should be ready for occupancy in summer 2025 and thus offer an environmentally friendly living alternative.
But that's not all! The photovoltaic system is already the 18th project of the energy cooperative and is expected to save 43 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. Thanks to technological progress, the system's economic operation is possible despite the east-west orientation of the roof. Citizens who want to participate in the financing can do this via subordinate loans. The total costs of the project amount to around 100,000 euros. Further information can be found on the BEG-FS.de website.
