New wind in Kempten: Dean Dorothee Löser is looking forward to the Allgäu!
The Evangelical Church in Allgäu is faced with a change. Dorothee Löser, the new dean of the Deanery district of Kempten and pastor at the St.-Mang Church, will take up her office on April 1, 2024. The 52-year-old, born and grew up in Stuttgart, brings comprehensive experience, among other things from her time as the managing pastor and deputy dean in Freising.
In April 2024, she will move to Kempten and plans to familiarize herself intensively into the diverse parish. Löser emphasizes that they want to use their gifts and skills for the dean's office. When she moved, she is accompanied by her Labrador Ringo. In an interview, she was already enthusiastic about the ecumenical encounters and the quality of life in the Allgäu.

After moving to the Allgäu, a warm welcome party for Dorothee Löser took place, in which it was welcomed by almost 80 full -time employees, including from the Diakonie and the Catholic Church. The St. Mang-Church was well attended on this occasion and the greeting through the city and the district councils remains unforgettable for Löser, such as Allgäuer Zeitung reported.
With studying theology in Tübingen and Heidelberg, Löser has a well -founded academic basis. She has been working in various parish offices in Bavaria since 2007 and has gained experience in church policy and personnel administration at the regional church office in Munich.
