In the Freising, a very special benefit run will take place these days: The Lebenshilfe Freising Foundation organizes its twelfth curriculum vitae, which runs from October 12th to 20th. The event ties in with the times before the Corona pandemic and has already mobilized 230 participants this year, which together made an impressive 1340.03 kilometers. This has given the foundation an amount of more than 20,000 euros in donations, which underlines the importance of this event.

The beginning of this unique event fell on last Saturday. The participants had the entire week to capture their individual kilometers. There were no limits to the imagination; Whether running, walking, cycling or swimming - all activities were counted. This encouraged people of all ages and with different fitness to become active for a good cause.

The grand finale of the CV is a festive event next Sunday, October 20, at Gartenstraße 57. During this festival there are numerous activities and a colorful supporting program. The participants can pick up their start numbers on site and run their kilometers covered around the pretty moss subjects. The schedule provides for a lot: from 11.30 a.m. the participants can register before the official opening by the patron OB Tobias Eschenbacher follows at 1 p.m. In addition, various food stalls and musical performances by talented artists, such as Rosa & Co. and the Moosach Blosn, are planned by the Stadtkapelle Freising.

It is important that everyone, regardless of their sporting performance or mobility, can take part. It does not depend on the speed, but on participation itself and the number of kilometers.

The documentation of the route covered can be creatively via the social media under the hashtag #Research Free Sing2024, which also enlivens the event and strengthens solidarity and the sense of community.

Interested donors can support the foundation directly via the specified account details.
