Violence at the train station: 26-year-old arrested after attack in Freising
On Monday, November 5, 2024, the Freising train station turned into a dramatic scene of violence! A 26-year-old Eritrean was arrested after a violent incident that called the police on the scene. At around 5:30 p.m., the officers reached the news about a tangible discussion and found the disputes. The young man was quickly taken into custody and handed over to the responsible federal police.
alcohol and aggression: the background of the argument
The background of the dispute remains in the dark for the time being, but the investigation revealed that both the Eritrean and a 55-year-old German from Mainburg, which was hit in the face, were heavily drunk-both had about 1.5 per thousand in their blood! This escalation not only led to a physical argument, but also to further riots: the Eritreaner joined the bicycle of a 56-year-old Tunisian and damaged it, in addition he threw an ashtray against an display board on the platform.
But that wasn't all! When checking the identity of the Eritrean, the police came across an open arrest warrant from the Landshut public prosecutor because of attempted rape! This man, who has lived in Germany since September 2015 and has a preliminary residence permit, had already been sentenced to a prison sentence of one year and eleven months, but had not yet started it. After the police measures, he was immediately transferred to the Munich-Stadelheim correctional facility. Now he has to answer for assault and property damage!
