Ceremonial inauguration: Jägersdorf presents his new fire station!

A new chapter for the Jägersdorf fire brigade! The brand new fire station was inaugurated last Saturday, and the joy was tangible. Pastor Stephan Rauscher blessed the building and the committed Florian disciples, while those present praised the incredible 10,000 working hours that the firefighters themselves put into the construction. Commandant Heiko Kruschina and the official delegation, including District Administrator Helmut Petz and Mayor Anita Wölfle, were enthusiastic about the new domicile, which is only 500 meters from the old location, but opened completely new dimensions.

a ceremony full of recognition

The inauguration ceremony was a great festival with over 100 guests, including a delegation from the fire brigade from the Thuringian "Jägersdorf". Mayor Wölfle emphasized that the fire service of the fire brigade could reduce the construction costs of over one million euros to 740,000 euros - and without government funding! The 110,000 euros in funding she received were considered an additional bonus. Wölfle thanked the many helpers who invested their free time to realize this project and emphasized how important the fire brigade is for the community.

The need for the new building was undisputed. The old fire station was simply no longer portable: too small, too tight, too cold! With the new building, which offers space for three vehicles, a social wing and a practice room, the Jägersdorf firefighters are now well equipped. Commandant Kruschina praised his troop and said: "What a horny bunch. You can really do something with them!" The mood was euphoric, and district fire councilor Manfred Danner spoke of a "piece of jewelry" and the great commitment of the firefighters.
