Django Asül conjures up magic with biting humor: annual review in Erding!

Cabaret artist Django Asül provided entertaining moments in the almost sold-out Stadthalle in Erding on January 10, 2025. In his satirical review of the year, “Rearview Mirror 2024,” he presented viewers with a humorous look back at significant events of the past year. At the beginning of his performance, Asül was surprised to find that he was served a non-alcoholic wheat beer in a Helles glass, which prompted him to jokingly ask about the availability of wheat beer glasses in Erding.

Asül addressed various topics in his program, including the traffic light coalition, the Union and Donald Trump. The Bad Tölz fire department and the million-dollar work of art known as the Adhesive Tape Banana were also mentioned. With a sharp tongue, he joked about citizens' money and the expensive flight costs of federal politicians during the European Football Championship. After the break, he surprised the audience with a real wheat beer glass and humorously focused on other political topics, including Angela Merkel and Olaf Scholz's planned memoirs.

A look back at 2024

The premiere of Asül's program “Rearview Mirror 2024” took place on November 25, 2024. In this program, the cabaret artist covers events from politics, society and sport and offers a mixture of highlights and flops of the year. His distinctive, biting humor and wit are used to present the curiosities of the year in an entertaining way. The program aims to amuse the audience and get them in the mood for the New Year, which Asül achieved impressively.

One thing is certain for all fans: Django Asül announced that he would be coming to Erding again on December 30, 2025 to poke fun at other political and social issues with his distinctive style.
