The advantages are enormous: By combining 3D imaging with a computer-controlled operating navigation system, doctors can place their instruments with incomparable accuracy. Professor Dr. Cakir, chief physician and spine specialist, explains that the number of necessary control recordings is drastically reduced during an intervention - from the past to just about a third. That means less radiation exposure to patients and surgical staff!
