Future -oriented school construction in Dingolfing: A milestone for education!
In Dingolfing, an important event took place on Tuesday: the topping-out ceremony for the extension of the Herzog-Tassilo-Realschule. This celebration marked an important progress in the construction process, in which representatives, teachers, construction workers and many guests came together. In his speech, District Administrator Werner Bumeder emphasized the relevance of this investment, which will significantly expand the capacity of the junior high school. There are currently 755 students in 29 classes, and the new facility should provide rooms for specialist lessons.
The newly planned building is built in the northeastern part of the school area and connects directly to the administrative wing. Three three -storey buildings are connected to a comb structure, with the entire gross floor area comprising around 5,140 square meters. Due to the modern architecture approach, the new building fulfills strict energetic standards: a KfW 40 standard for the building envelope is sought, supported by a powerful photovoltaic system with a capacity of 32 kWp. "These measures make a substantial contribution to climate protection and promote cost -efficient structural solutions," continued Bumeder.
financing and temporal framework
The estimated total costs for the construction project are around 22 million euros. Around 9.7 million euros of this sum come from funding that considerably facilitate the financial framework. The official groundbreaking ceremony for this ambitious project was set in May 2023, and the opening of the new premises is planned for September 2025. This is intended to use the new classrooms in good time for the school year 2025/2026.
Headmistress Barbara Gagel was optimistic about the progress and made it clear that this expansion was a significant step towards improving the learning conditions. "We create the best prerequisites for the learning success of our students," said Gagel full of enthusiasm.
District Administrator Bumeder and the other school representatives present expressed their thanks to everyone involved in the construction project and wished a smooth building course. "I am already looking forward to the day when we can inaugurate the new premises together with the students," said the district administrator. Another highlight of the directional festival was the judgment of the direction, which was held by Josef Hasreiter, a representative of the executive construction company.
The Herzog-Tassilo Realschule will not only cover the current space requirements, but also implement future-oriented standards in school construction. This will benefit both the teachers and the learners by creating a modern and sustainable learning environment. These developments are not only important for school, but also for the region, since they improve educational opportunities and promote a sustainable future.
