Deggendorf is on Sunday, October 13th, host of a special event that has been a tradition for 50 years: The annual general meeting of the BGS comradeship Deggendorf e.V. takes place, without new elections. From 10 a.m. the members gather in the canteen of the federal police.

The meeting begins solemnly with a traditional white sausage breakfast that is a highlight of the morning for many participants. The white sausage, a typical Bavarian dish, is often served with sweet mustard and pretzels and symbolizes the hospitality of the region.

a review and honors

After everyone who has enjoyed breakfast in a sociable group, follows the annual review, which the chairman Heinz Hofmarksrichter will present. In this report, the highlights and challenges of the past year are highlighted, so that the members receive a comprehensive image of activities and developments within the camaraderie.

Another important part of the event are the honors of many years of members who have contributed to the success of the camaraderie through their loyalty and commitment. Such awards strengthen the sense of community and appreciate the use of individual members over the years.

The event is not only a way to reflect on the past year, but also an occasion to strengthen the connection between the members and to set new impulses for the future. The BGS comradeship thus represents a valuable part of social life in Deggendorf and maintains existing friendships and networks.
