Volleyball sensation: ASV Dachau starts strongly into the upper house!

An exciting chapter in German volleyball is opened, because the traditional ASV Dachau is back in the upper house!

The former Champions League participant has an exciting journey in the Munich bacon belt. After a dramatic case in the third class in the late 2000s, a realignment took its course, which catapulted the club up again. Under the committed youth coach Sepp Wolf, the ASV focused on promoting its own talents, which led to numerous youth championships and the return to the 2nd Bundesliga.

with coach Patrick Steuerwald at the top, the best talents from the region came together, players with already a gathered higher -class experience. Last year the Dachauer made the leap into the upper house and invested a lot to strengthen their team with players such as diagonal attackers Simon Gallas. The season began glossy, with new stars like the American Matt Slivinski and Argentinier Agustin Gallardo, who also boiled the squad. After six games, the Dachauer set out in an impressive seventh place. "In Dachau, a successful policy of small progress is being carried out," said Florian Schneider, the manager from 1844, to the performance of the team.

Now the team is under the pressure of a hard meeting - and not without reason! In the second half of the last season, they had to give up the monkey gang with a 0: 3. "We look forward to this duel against a team that has strengthened very well," said Schneider and exposed the anticipation for an exciting match.
