The reasons for the standstill

Mayor Trinkl reported that a representative of the company expressed concerns about lack of capacities. Telekom attributed the difficulties to inflation, delivery bottlenecks and a falling demand for fiber optic tariffs. These factors could therefore significantly impair the plans to implement the project.

"We are a little irritated by this situation." Said Trinkl, "because by involving Telekom, we forfeited funding that we might have received for our own implementation." "Everything would have been understood and we would have started building in the coming year," he added, complaining to the missed opportunity to significantly improve the infrastructure.
