Fire brigade saves Dachau car from flames - 10,000 euros damage!
Weiherer Straße, 85276 Pfaffenhofen, Deutschland - A dramatic scenario developed in Pfaffenhofen on Thursday evening when a car went on fire right next to the local fire station. At 6 p.m., a 24-year-old woman from Dachau departed her vehicle in the parking lot of the new Edeka on Weiherer Strasse. As soon as she had left the car, passers -by noticed that the engine compartment was already blazing and alarming the fire brigade.
The firefighters who only had a short way to the site rushed to the fire site immediately. Supported by a police patrol, they tried to extinguish the fire, but their first attempts were unsuccessful. It was only when a specially equipped squad arrived with heavy breathing protection that the inferno could be effectively combated with a C pipe. Thanks to their quick reaction, the fire was soon under control, and the firefighters remained on site for protection and for re -extinguishing work.
high property damage
Although the fire was deleted quickly, the damage was enormous: the car suffered a total loss of around 10,000 euros. After about 45 minutes, the firefighters were finally able to move in again after ensuring that there were no more embers. A happy fact was that no people were harmed, but the incident once again shows how quickly an everyday situation can become a dangerous situation.
