Anneliese, who comes from Pfaffenhofen on the Ilm, also came to the city and grew up there. During their youth they met more and more, which finally led to their marriage.

After his Bundeswehr period, Josef was looking for a professional change. He started his career as a toolmaker at the Schaltbau company in Dachau and stayed in industry for many years. Anneliese, on the other hand, completed an apprenticeship as a tailor, but found her passion in the office and finally worked at Grundig in Dachau.

from the marriage of the Nickelsbacher, daughter Petra emerged, who married the son of Josef's friend Max Binsmaier. Her family grew with the three grandsons Alexander, Florian and Daniel over two meters tall. Florian already has children who are great -grandchildren of Anneliese and Josef, which the family is all the more closely welded together.

The past few years have not always been easy for Josef. After a stroke in 2019, he had to go to a nursing home at times. However, his grandson Florian, who is physiotherapist, did not give up and made sure that Josef came home in 2021. A few years ago, when the children were out of the house, Anneliese and Josef discovered gardening as a common hobby. The couple actively and connected their commitment in the allotment garden.
