Bird flu risk: Bavaria remains vigilant, but without measures!

Landkreis Passau, Deutschland - Austria is under alarm! The entire country was classified as a risk area for the dreaded bird flu. The Bavarian border districts are in the greatest vigilance, while the authorities keep an eye on the situation. The threat is hovers over the region, but so far there are no confirmed cases in Bavaria!

Landkreis Passau, but no measures

In the district of Passau, directly on the border with Austria, there is increased willingness to alert. Despite the increasing risk of crossing the bird flu across the border, the authorities have so far taken no concrete measures such as an obligation to install. The reason? There is no evidence of the disease yet! The situation remains tense, but hope for a safe development remains.

Berchtesgadener Land: Subject to Observation

Even in the Berchtesgadener Land district, there are no cases of bird flu. The State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) regularly carries out risk assessments that could prepare possible measures to combat bird flu in close cooperation with the STMUV. The veterinary office remains vigilant and willing to act immediately if the situation should be tightened.

In the district of Lindau, on the other hand, bird flu remains an unknown topic. So far no illnesses have occurred, and therefore no preventive measures have been taken. The location seems stable, but the authorities are on the hat to be able to react quickly if the situation should change.
