New vocational school center in Freilassing: a milestone for the region!

An exciting step in the educational landscape: The district meeting approved the design planning of the new state vocational school center (BSZ) in Freilassing on Friday. This future -oriented project is to be realized by 2030 and significantly improve the educational offer in the region. The new building will not only adapt the spatial conditions, but also ensure a state -of -the -art training for tomorrow's specialists.

With a clear focus on vocational training, the BSZ offers a comprehensive program that ranges from vocational preparation to dual apprenticeships to technical schools. The new school center will be created in two construction phases. The first construction phase includes a three -storey main building with specialized workshops for construction technology, motor vehicle technology and other professional fields. This carefully structured technology area will significantly increase the safety and efficiency of the training processes, while the second construction phase offers space for gastronomy and hotel industry, including the newly founded specialist academy for social pedagogy.

The planning provides modern heating systems with air-heat pumps and environmentally friendly materials. In addition, all buildings are designed to be barrier -free to ensure access for all students. The innovative campus becomes not only a place of learning, but also a central meeting point in the region, which strengthens the connection between school and district. A paving place invites you to interaction and acts as a green oasis with play and relaxation areas.

Now only the approval planning is missing, which is to be submitted by the end of 2024. The first groundbreaking for the new building is expected for the second half of 2025. This adventure in the educational architecture promises to become a milestone for the region!
